Halos

Privacy

A short policy for a small, quiet app.

Local-first, always.

Your habits and logs live entirely on your device, encrypted by iOS. Halos does not upload, sync, or back up your data to any server. There is no Halos cloud.

No accounts.

Halos does not require an email, phone number, or login of any kind. The app has no user accounts, so there is nothing for us to collect or lose.

No tracking, no analytics.

Halos does not use analytics services, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or any third-party tracking. Your taps are not watched.

No ads, no sharing.

Halos shows no ads. Your data is never sold, rented, shared, or otherwise made available to anyone. It doesn't leave your phone unless you explicitly export it (via the Share Sheet), which creates a local file you control.

Notifications.

Halos uses iOS's local notifications to deliver the reminders you set. These are scheduled on-device and never touch any external server. Halos does not use push notifications from any server.

iCloud backup.

If you have iCloud backup enabled on your iPhone, your Halos data may be included in that backup, as with any iOS app. This is between you and Apple; Halos does not interact with iCloud directly.

Changes to this policy.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear here.
